Trypanosoma evansi: diagnostic techniques and cross-sectional study in Thailand
Whoever has spent some time in a diagnostic lab knows that a diagnostic test rarely offers a clear Yes/No answer. Instead, many factors influence the performances of a diagnostic tests, and evaluating diagnostic procedures is a necessary step to ensure we can confidently interprete results of individual diagnostic, research studies or surveillance data.

In this section, you will find:

-
a study comparing PCR primers for the detection of T. evansi

-
a study illustrating the great variations of test sensitivity obtained with variious DNA extraction techniques

-
a serological survey of T. evansi in dairy cattle in Thailand

This work was also the object of my veterinary thesis,
